We got to spend a few days last week with my cousin Andrew and his buddy Nick, who came out from Illinois for a visit. We had a great time, cramming a ton of stuff into the five days they were here! Even with Mike working nights and sleeping most of the day, we were all four go-go-go! Here are some pics of their visit.....and please know, we obviously love having people out so what are you waiting for? :)
Only two miles above sea level. Even Mike and I were gasping in the thin air! This was the highest up I've ever been, too, and the views were amazing. To get here, we drove up the highest road in the US - Trailridge Road.
Visiting with the wildlife in Estes Park. The boys are avid bow-hunters and it was very hard for them to resist the elk :)
On our way up the Poudre Canyon, where we booked a campsite for the evening and had a picnic dinner and s'mores over the fire.
Mmmmm, we love s'mores!
We did a little putt-putt and on the first hole I got a hole-in-one!! That never happens!
Enjoying Fort Fun. Unfortunately our plans to also race go-karts were canceled by lightning.
