Welcome, 2009!
Just six days into a new year, and it's already been a great one.
On New Year's Eve, we welcomed in the Eddys from Southern California for a long weekend stay. They'd never been out here with us, so it was a great time showing them around and we were blessed with beautiful 50 degree weather (with one little sprinkle of snow towards the end). We took full advantage of that, and got outside as much as we could with them. But that's for another post! So after picking them up at the airport, we headed over to the Koepps' for an awesome New Year's party! These guys can throw a heck of a party, and this did not disappoint. We watched the ball drop in New York and were home by 11:30 as Mike had to work that night at midnight - but we had a great time!!
One of my favorite things ever - hanging on a couch with my girlfriends. We had a great time laughing and catching up - and of course, enjoying some wine!

Kate came by the party for a little while on the way to her youth group lock-in, and after running a race that night to seal off a great 2008 for her. She's every woman!

Maybe we could do a Sarge/Axl dress-up calendar...we've already got Dec and Jan covered! Happy New Year, the wine and friends looked very fun! I wish I could pass around Eliot too!

Did Jen really just have that baby?? She doesnt look like it...she looks awesome! Looks like you all had fun. You kids party hard there in FoCoCo! We usually just celebrate with the NY group too, then hit the hay. This year, we headed to bed at 10:30 though. I figure it is 2009 for a whole year, so why loose sleep over it :) Miss you!
