Hampostle Reunites.

The Hammers are back! We cannot TELL you how excited that makes us to have them on the same continent again:) They dropped their stuff in Bremerton, WA (about an hour outside Seattle) two weeks ago and headed out to visit some friends and family....rounding out their travel with a weekend stop in Colorado. And oh my goodness, the excitement was palpable. There just isn't anything like Hampostle time!! We started their trip off Friday night with dinner at one of our fave restaurants in town, Cafe Vino. Mmmmm, the drinks & tapas were awesome. I love tapa-style dinners, with lots of snacking that adds up to a meal:) You may have seen our bacon-wrapped dates over {here}.

My bestie, the movie star:

Saturday after a crack-of-dawn golf round for the boys and coffee & lolling about time for the girls, we headed up the canyon for a really fun hike. Seaman's Reservoir offers beautiful views of the foothills and the water and is a pretty decent hike for a couple of flat-landers:)

(p.s. my Hubs is the best! Isn't he adorable?)

Cute picture of Noa & Julie...

We loved the lookout on the top, over the water. There were a few other hikers who were actually jumping off this cliff into the reservoir! I might have too at that point, had I had a change of clothes....it was BLAZING hot.

We settled instead for climbing down the rock & walking along the shoreline, skipping rocks and catching froggies (Julie).

See! She did squeal once when he peed on her, but she was waaaaay more brave than me:)

Love these guys. (on their way to play another round of golf...two in 72 hours:)

Sunday Julie and I shopped while they golfed....and Sarge enjoyed a good scratch. Doesn't he look totally blissful!

Gazing longingly at his Aunt Julie:) Handsome boy!

Noa & Julie, we had the best weekend with you. Thank you for coming and for filling up our lives so much. We love you! See you soon!

Apostles- had the best time!!! (of course we did). Such a great time seeing your beautiful home including the amazing basement Mike has worked so hard on...and of course the highlight of meeting all your many dear FoCoCo friends who we have heard so much about. Great crowd! Can't wait to spend more time with you and all of them.
