Tonight I took my hubs out for a date to his all time favorite Mexican restaurant, Baja Fresh, which we just discovered was in DENVER!! It was a surprise to him, and he was thrilled! Their salsa is his favorite, and he is well known for actually drinking it. Which is what he's doing in the last picture!! The restaurant was in downtown Denver, which is always a fun place to hang out. We followed up dinner with a Starbucks treat, and it was a perfect date night. Much needed after his 10 days away last week for Army training and a trip to Mexico (see Kate's blog for pictures of Potters Clay - til I can get some uploaded).

He actually shouted for joy when we pulled up in front of Baja Fresh! He had no idea there was one so close. His first Baja experience was in college, in Southern California.
Drinking the famous salsa. It's actually black in color, doesn't look like your typical salsa. But mmmm, it's great!

I am glad you found a Baja Fresh close to ya'll! It makes me want to go on the hunt to find one to try too. Sounds like Mike really does need some time to rest and enjoy some favorites with you, Jess!!! You're a good wife treating your hubby!
