Saturday started off with a bang, with a round of paintball for the guys. The five of them spent the morning shooting each other, and spent all afternoon comparing bruises. They really had a great time, the stereotypical guy activity!!
Saturday night about twenty people came over for a barbeque at our house. We grilled hamburgers, played botchee ball in the backyard, and sat around talking*. Mike had a great time being surrounded by his favorite friends from high school, college, and residency all at once. We finished the night with a little Dance Party and a big angel food cake.
I don't think I've ever seen Mike smile so much. We had a great night celebrating.
*The girls sat around talking. The guys? Well, they bonded over Bud Light.
