Tuesday was a really fun day. Liz and Josh and I went to St.Augustine in the morning for a tour of the old fort and a leisurely walk down historic St.George Street - while Mike napped after a long overnight shift. We ate ice cream and caramel apples and perused the local shops - Liz found a cute plate and some fun tee shirts. It was beautiful weather for it, sunny and 70s, no humidity here yet! We had a great morning.
We then swung by our favorite local eatery, The Hot Dog Spot, and took dogs to Mike at home for lunch. Liz and I spent a couple of hours at the pool that afternoon while Mike and Josh watched a movie and supervised the building of our new backyard fence!!
That evening, we split up again and the girls went for pedicures (ahhhh) while the boys walked around Town Center (they assure us they weren't shopping). We met up afterwards and tried a new Cuban restaraunt for dinner - and were given a free dessert after Mike busted out the espanol with the waiter! We retired at home, watching an episode of Scrubs before heading to bed.
It was a great day of vacation at its finest!!
