Our dear friends the Eddys came to visit over the weekend with their adorable son Henry. Our boys are just a couple months apart & it was so much fun watching them play together. Brady was in heaven having another kiddo to run around with, and we were in heaven hanging out with Jim & Amy.
You can practically hear the screeching laughter between the boys playing with the baby gate.
Kate came over one day & shared her Sonic cherry limeade with Buster. He wouldn't give it back! Please note the death grip on the cup.
B was very happy Henry taught him how to climb on things. It's fun having an older friend to teach you new tricks.
Sunday night we went to the Huntingtons for a "low country boil" (google it - it's awesome).
We enjoyed the watermelon gazpacho...
And the ridiculously good food. Someone also enjoyed a Capri Sun as you can see. I won't name names.

BFF's & future BFF's.
Jen set up Cora's water table and it was a big hit with the one year olds!
Mama & her baby Marine.
We all stuffed our faces, but Brady won for most-food-consumed I think. He literally ate non-stop for twenty straight minutes during dinner. At one point he was using both hands to stuff food into his mouth. His belly was distended & firm after he finished - much like mine feels after Thanksgiving. Except it's not Thanksgiving - it's just a normal ole Sunday for him. He's an EATER!
Love them, love this pic.
What's a blog post without a pic of babies-in-a-bath?
The boys read their favorite book together.
And they are both so good at doing high-five. How adorable is that?
Our last night together, we busted out our fire-pit for a quintessential summer night in the backyard. It was a gorgeous cool evening & we absolutely loved sitting by the fire enjoying wine, a cheese plate, and authentic deep conversation with such good friends. It was the perfect way to end our weekend together.
Thank you for coming to see us, Eddys!! We had the best time & miss you lots already.
