Happy Birthday Sarge!

Our little furbaby turns two today!!
To celebrate we had a puppers get-together with Maggie, Jake, Gunnar and Kai. And Sarge got a new toy.


Here's the birthday boy himself.
We're all proud that he made it to two, given how rough our first few months with him were :)

What a sweet puppy! This is the day we picked him out.
Big pat on the back for Liz and Josh who endured hours of puppy analysis-paralysis! It's hard to remember that he was ever this small.

Ten Things I Love About Sarge:
1. How he sleeps on his back with his front legs folded over; we call them "T-Rex arms."
2. The way he does exaggerated stretching when he comes out of his crate. I don't where he gets the drama :)
3. He answers to a million names; Sargento Cheese, Pupperlups, Little Rat, Dingenator, Doofus, Nubbers, etc.
4. He is a total treat snob. For being such a big powerful dog, he is so dainty with treats.
5. How his nub wags when he's excited.
6. The grumbling sound he makes when I rub his belly. Like he doesn't like it! But he stays for more :)
7. The jackrabbit sidesweep.....a sideways leap he does in the yard. Mostly when we're trying to catch him!
8. How he "helps" load the dishwasher!
9. He knows what "Do you want to go wake up Dad?" means, and bolts up the stairs to our room.
10. How he always just wants to be where his people are.
