After an amazing destination wedding in Arizona, the Glannons hosted a beautiful garden reception in Kansas City this weekend!
Murphy and Marri were surrounded by their closest friends and family for a big ole party celebrating their marriage. We got to see family members from Mike's side that we haven't seen in forever. His younger sister Kerri has grown up so much I hardly recognized her - she was all prettied up for her homecoming dance! His grandpa, who just turned 89, was looking as good as ever and he and Mike even had a golf date later in the weekend! His brother Bill was there, and we don't see him often enough, so it was great to see him and Mike laughing a lot. We got to see uncles and aunts and friends, and it was a really fun night.
It was just good to be there for a family reunion of sorts, with the purpose of celebrating Marri and Murph. It was all about them that night and they deserved every ounce of attention. Their's has been a long road together and it was wonderful to celebrate their journey.
