Happy BDay Jen!

Jen turns 31 this weekend! We celebrated on Sunday, a little early.



We had a surprise party for her, with the S/D/H/A clan! (get it?) The girls enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the dogs romp.

The puppies were particularly happy about the get-together. Jake is missing from the pic, but he was here too.

The boys enjoyed some much needed bonding.
They barbequed, played football ("500") in the backyard, and shot the breeze over cold beers.


We all had a great time. We ate burgers and chips and deviled eggs and corn casserole (YUM) and had brownies for dessert...and it was a perfect night with friends. Jen and I have been friends since our very first weekend in Jacksonville - I met her at a party for the new, incoming residents - and we continued to meet weekly for coffee dates in Jax, developing a really great friendship.

We're all glad she's here in FoCoCo, and are thankful to celebrate #31 with her.
