Wednesday night we celebrated Mike's birthday once again, this time with just the Hammers and Apostles. We met at our house and Noa, Julie and Kate gave him their presents......a poker chip set, Scrubs Season 3 DVDs, a Remington .308. Yes, a rifle! Needless to say, Mike was stoked - and even asked if he could take it to dinner with us. Which I declined. He did carry one of the .308 rounds in his pocket, though. We took him out to dinner at the Outback Steakhouse after present opening, and enjoyed a great night together laughing and joking and stuffing our faces with a Bloomin' Onion. Doesn't get much better than that.

Well of course Mike NEEDED a rifle to go with the rottweiler ..what kind of self respecting dog would have an owner without one? When does SARGE get HIS rifle?
Tell Mike he REALLY does have a gift on the way from the Veo's ;) We can't wait to all hang out again!!
