Sarge had his first dog park experience at Dogwood Park today! Julie, Noa, the iggies, Sarge and I spent the better part of our afternoon there. He romped in the water (Sarge already loves the water - drinking out of the garden hose is his new favorite) and rolled in the sand, napped on Julie's lap, attempted to run after Sadie and Gunnar (a short attempt - they are crazy fast and he is uncoordinated and slow!) and met several big dogs. After the dog park, we ate dinner together at an outdoor cafe and then the pups and Julie and I treated ourselves to vanilla ice cream. Sarge fell dead asleep on the way home - completely exhausted. I think we'll spend many days at this doggie paradise in the weeks to come!!
