Thursday was our beach day. We left in the morning and spent a better part of the day at Jacksonville Beach. We perused local shops and ate hot dogs on the beach. It was a beautiful day with good temps and lots of sunshine. Liz and Josh even braved the cold water (takes awhile for the ocean to heat up - isn't quite there yet!) for a few minutes. We fed the birds, too, which didn't turn out so well for Josh*. Then Mike came down after work and took Josh out to a local brewery, where they had lunch and tasted new beers. Liz and I continued to bask in the sun and read magazines! We all got a little too much sun, but loved just lying on the beach with the wind in our faces. There's really nothing like it.
*Think, bird poop. In not so welcomed areas.
